Artist Talk: Omar Attum
Omar Attum’s will show photographs from his new book, Sinai: Landscape and Nature in Egypt’s Wilderness and discuss how to create a vision for desert photography. His presentation will cover showing emotion in landscape photography, the gift of storms, composition, selective lighting, breaking the rules, and creating your own luck using examples from his book. This presentation is for photographers and those who enjoy the outdoors.
Omar Attum is a recipient of a Blue Earth Alliance Photographer Fellowship and his credits include Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography, and National Geographic Magazine to name a few. He is currently an associate professor of biology at Indiana University Southeast and a visiting Fulbright Fellow in Jordan.
