Qahtan Ibrahim Alameen

was born in Baghdad, Iraq.

In 1991 Qahtan earned a BFA from the University of Baghdad. In 2002 he moved to Canada where he continued his studies in art taking photography classes at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (2005) and earning a diploma in art and graphic design from Compu College (2006). Qahtan currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
