Amman is one of the oldest cities in the world, with a history that dates back to 8,000 BC.During 2009, city governance under the Greater Amman Municipality is celebrating its centenary. In honor of this major milestone, the Mayor of Amman, HE Omar Maani and the students of the city will be hosting a youthful debate about the future of the City.

The event will be held at the Hussein Cultural Center in Ras Al Ain on February 21st between 5-8pm. This City forum will discuss the following issues:

* ‘A’ for Ammani: Citizen Centered Governance
* City Walker Transit Trailer: Mobility within Amman
* Post Amman 2025? : Regionally and Locally

The event will also host the Ammani musical band Sign of Thyme.
The event is co-hosted by theAMMAN INSTITUTE,INTERRUPTIONS and the GAM.
