قد يكون الثابت الوحيد في هوية مدينة عمان هو التغير الدائم في بنيتها السكانية بتغير الأحداث التي تجري من حولها. تظهر هوية عمان الفسيفسائية في مشهد المطاعم والمأكولات الشعبية المتنوعة التي انشأتها مجموعات قررت الاستقرار بها سواء من اللاجئين أو العمالة الوافدة أو المهاجرين الطوعيين. نرغب خلال الأسبوع الأول والثاني من رمضان في تصوير مشاهد الإفطار في هذه المطاعم العراقية، اليمنية، المصرية، السورية، الآسيوية وغيرها من المطاعم الشعبية، لنوثق ونسلط الضّوء على قصص مختلفة من عمّان وأهلها في رمضان.

انضمّوا إلينا يوم الإثنين ١٥ تموز/يوليو ٢٠١٣، الساعة ٦:٣٠ مساءً، حيث سنجتمع في مكتب حبر في العبدلي قبل أن ننطلق في جولة إفطار تصويرية.

Throughout history, Amman has attracted people from diverse countries and backgrounds. Its demographic constantly changes with the turmoil in the surrounding region. One of the facets of this mosaic identity is the diverse food shops and international restaurants established by groups that chose to settle in Amman, temporarily or permanently.

In the first two weeks of Ramadan, we’d like to capture scenes of Iftar in Iraqi, Yemeni, Egyptian, Syrian, Asian, and other local restaurants, in order to document and highlight this rich and colorful side of Amman and its people.

Join us on Monday July 15, 2013, at 6:30 pm at the 7iber office in Abdali, where we will meet before heading out on a photography/Iftar tour.
